Pre Christmas celebration at Malone's, Sooka Sentral

Date: 23 Dec 2010
Time: 7pm
Venue: Malone's, Sooka Sentral

Christmas is around the corner coming in 2 days time and I just want to have a simple and nice Christmas celebration.
Normally I can't celebrate my Christmas cause my mum will ask me to help her during Christmas eve 24 Dec and Christmas 25 Dec.

Its okay, so I decided to had a small celebration. Leng accompany me that day.
I happen to find out a Irish restaurant call Malones while I am searching through the internet.
I quickly search through the google map, and happen to find out that it is near the Sooka Sentral.
So we went there by using my Papago GPS apps. :)

At first, we went into the Sooka Sentral and I taught it was in the Sooka Sentral, actually it's not in the mall. But as long as you reach Sooka Sentral, just ask anyone there, they will direct you to Malones.

just that the beef is a little hard for me to bite

served with onion gravy and spuds salad or colcannon)
Comment: The sausages is very tender, there is 3 sausages, Chicken, Beef and Veal

Deserts:
Bread and Butter Pudding
(Layers of buttered bread scattered with raisins and soaked
with cinnamon infused custard. Served with Vanilla ice cream)
Comment: love the mix and match, blends well with the hot (bread) and cold (ice-cream)

Magnum Movie Nite 3D : Tron Legacy

Have you watch the trailer for Tron Legacy 3D ?
(over 2 million views from Youtube)

Yes I can't wait for this movie in 3D, just based on watching the trailer, I can see how great the 3D effects is!
I am sure you don't want to miss it!

Thanks to Magnum for the previous movie : The Other Guys.
Hopefully I can get tickets for this round.

My suggestion would be open up an interactive events!
Bloggers like us don't just go for events, but we are friendly enough to communicate and meet new friends!

Magnum should create an event and invite the online community to participate.
If it's possible collaborate with an outstanding events,
for example Concerts, World Stage, Aurthur's day and etc.

Make it a 12 hours event,
(I know it's going to be tiring but as long as it's fun! WHY NOT?)

Morning: Ice breaking session ( know each other )
Afternoon: Lunch - with games ( Treasure Hunt @ Sunway Lagoon or Charity)
Evening : Dinner - ready for concerts
Night: Party with concerts

It's going to be a fun day
especially the Treasure Hunt @ Sunway Lagoon !
Get wet, meet new friends and win amazing prizes!

Further more, Charity events like helping the old fox. We don't just enjoy events, we tend to help people who need us! :)

Give some break time after the treasure hunt and at night all of us are going to enjoy the Concert.

Isn't it better after bonding with each other through games, rather than just attend a event without knowing each other?
That's my key point. INTERACTIVE
We get to meet new friends increase our social network!

Proton's (Satria Neo S2000) Win at Asia Pacific Rally Championship (APRC) 2010

This would be a good news for 1 Malaysia!

After a five-year break, PROTON’s return to the coveted Asia Pacific Rally Championship (APRC) has paid off handsomely when it emerged second in the Manufacturer’s Championship in its first full season.

If you are asking WHAT is APRC?
The Asia Pacific Rally Championship is an official F.I.A. championship that covers a diverse range of countries, climates, cultures and a population base of over 2.5 billion people.

In 2010 seven events make-up the rally championship starting with the Malaysia, then Japan, New Zealand, Australia (Queensland), New Caledonia, Indonesia and lastly China.

ACHIEVEMENTS
A one-two finish at the recently-concluded China Rally - APRC last weekend by Alister McRae and Chris Atkinson reaffirmed the Malaysian car manufacturer’s resolve, determination and competitiveness in the global rallying arena as it placed itself between the traditionally-dominant manufacturers Mitsubishi and Subaru.

(For more info, check out FIA APRC News)

As an added bonus, the spirited drive by Alister McRae also earned the Scottish driver THIRD placing in the APRC Driver’s Championship (under the driver points) and this is an even bigger cause for celebration at the PROTON camp.

Alister McRae - Third Placing
2010 Drivers Points

PROTON Holdings Berhad Group Managing Director
Dato’ Haji Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir says that
"We are elated with this victory and it reaffirms the Satria Neo S2000 and PROTON’s competitiveness as a manufacturer on the international rally arena. Considering we had declared from the very beginning of the season that this year would be one that is devoted to testing and development, coming SECOND in the APRC Manufacturer’s Championship is certainly a cause for celebration,"

PROTON- Second placing

PROTON's SUCCESS in Motorsports is able to build way for coming season and future involvement.

Example is that,
the popularity of the Satria Neo S2000 in both the APRC and IRC that an up-and-coming privateer is currently racing the car in the United Kingdom and more recently, a top Japanese team is also looking into the possibility of fielding the Satria Neo in next year’s Asia Cup category in the APRC

Something positive in Proton is their challenger spirit.
Example In the China race, the Satria Neo S2000 stamped its competitiveness by being the only Super 2000 rally car to compete against a field largely dominated by the turbocharged Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution and Subaru Impreza rally cars which are the more famous rally cars.

In such situation, Proton is still determine and able to get 2nd and 3rd placing!

PROTON, continue the spirit and you will be successful!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 1) Movie Review

Cast:
Director: David Yates
Writers: Steve Kloves (screenplay), J.K. Rowling (novel)
Stars: Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint

Plot: [Source: Warner Bros]
Part 1 begins as Harry, Ron and Hermione set out on their perilous mission to track down and destroy the secret to Voldemort’s immortality and destruction—the Horcruxes.  On their own, without the guidance of their professors or the protection of Professor Dumbledore, the three friends must now rely on one another more than ever.  But there are Dark Forces in their midst that threaten to tear them apart.
Meanwhile, the wizarding world has become a dangerous place for all enemies of the Dark Lord.  The long-feared war has begun and Voldemort’s Death Eaters seize control of the Ministry of Magic and even Hogwarts, terrorizing and arresting anyone who might oppose them.  But the one prize they still seek is the one most valuable to Voldemort: Harry Potter.  The Chosen One has become the hunted one as the Death Eaters search for Harry with orders to bring him to Voldemort…alive.

Harry’s only hope is to find the Horcruxes before Voldemort finds him.  But as he searches for clues, he uncovers an old and almost forgotten tale—the legend of the Deathly Hallows.  And if the legend turns out to be true, it could give Voldemort the ultimate power he seeks.
Little does Harry know that his future has already been decided by his past when, on that fateful day, he became “the Boy Who Lived.”  No longer just a boy, Harry Potter is drawing ever closer to the task for which he has been preparing since the day he first stepped into Hogwarts: the ultimate battle with Voldemort.

Personal Comment: (may contains spoiler, read at your own risk)
I don't consider myself as a fan of Harry Potter, but I do watch every episode of the movie of Harry Potter.

Feel a little draggy and boring in the middle, which I think it is necessary to explain more details of the movie. Part 1 consist of 2 hour and 30 minutes.

Luckily that we still have Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint), who is able to add on some laughter in the movie.
I can't imagine if this is movie is without Rupert Grint.

There is one part where 3 of them transform into other character,
sneak into the Ministry of Magic to get the Horcruxe
(This is quite interesting.)

Guess who is injured?

Add on with some touched scene as the
Dobby helps Harry Potter

Something for you if you haven't read the book.
7 Harry Potter!
Wondering what's that?

One of the highlights in the movie, there is a small fight between Ron and Harry Potter.
What's wrong with them? Aren't they suppose to be united?
Now that is curious isn't it?

Effects
Didn't really show a great effect, the only scene I remember is the Snake so there is nothing much to compare about it. As for this part 1, basically highlights how they find the Second Horcrux, as I think part 2 is the time where more effect will appear, as Harry Potter will fight the Lord Voldemort.

Ending of the Part 1, gives me the adrenaline to watch Part 2, whereby Lord Voldemort found the greatest wand. ( I had been imagining a great fighting scene between Harry Potter and Voldemort )

Let's hope Part 2 will not disappoint me.
Personal Rating:
Plot: 7/10
Effects: 6/10
Action: 6.5/10
Overall: 6.5/10
